With universal appeal many of our items are made from Welsh gold.  Mined by the occupying Romans, ‘Clogau’ gold jewellery was fashionable with early Welsh princes and, more recently, has been used in the creation of wedding rings for a number of Royal brides. Nowadays there are only three remaining mines, making Clogau arguably the rarest and most sought after gold worldwide!  Another category of Welsh gold is Cymru-Y-Metel.  Both are used in jewellery available from Dafydd Ellis and ensure that the purchaser is taking home a real piece of Wales!
